Tile and Grout Cleaning

Grout is porous and holds soil carpet never sees — this is cleaning existing tile, not installing it.

Grout is cement-based and porous, which means it absorbs soil, grease and moisture in a way glazed tile does not. That difference is why grout lines visibly darken long before the tile surface looks dirty — the tile is shedding soil on wipe-down while the grout is holding onto it. A proper clean works soil back out of that porous surface rather than just wiping over the top of it.

This is cleaning, not construction. We work on grout and tile that are already installed and in place — we do not set tile, replace cracked tile, or regrout a floor. Where a floor has cracked tile, missing grout, or damage beyond soiling, that is tile installation work and a different trade to call.
